4 DAYS GORILLA TREKKING SAFARIS

DAY 1:  Kampala - Bwindi Gorilla Park

Arrival at Entebbe and transfer to Kampala to Green Valley Hotel.

DAY 2:  Kampala - Bwindi Gorilla Park

Our Safari Guide from Uganda Adventure Safaris will pick you up from your hotel at Green Valley Hotel in Kampala, depart by road from Kampala at about 7:00 am and head South Western Uganda. A brief stop at the Equator allows time for photographs. During the drive, you will see long-horned Ankole cattle, the rolling hills and terraced landscapes of the region, and beautiful panoramas. We have a lunch break en-route in Masaka / Mbarara town. We arrive at the park in Bwindi Forest in the late evening. Dinner and Overnight at Buhoma Lodge, Gorilla Resort  (Luxury) Gorilla safari Lodge, Silverback Lodge, Traveler’s Hotel (Midrange)  Buhoma Community Bandas, Buhoma View Bandas, Kisoro Tourist Hotel.

DAY 3: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest


After breakfast we take you to the starting point of the gorilla trekking.After the briefing you begin your tracking.Very early in the morning before 8:00am, after an early breakfast, report to the ranger station for a briefing with the park ranger, set off for your Gorilla tracking activity in the forests of Bwindi. Gorilla tracking can be strenuous, you will need to carry a packed lunch, drinking water, wear comfortable boots or jungle shoes suitable for steep muddy slopes, put on ear plugs for those who feel uncomfortable with jungle sounds and take a rain jacket. Walking sticks will be made available for those that require one by the park rangers.

In case you have the afternoon free, have a guided village walk to nearby communities to see and experience the different aspects of Ugandan lives, cultures and lifestyles like the Batwa pygmies.

DAY 4: Transfer back to Kampala

After your morning breakfast we shall hit the road back to Kampala, Enroute lunch and transfer to airport or Green Valley hotel in Kampala.
