DAY 1


Arrival at Entebbe and Transfer to your Hotel Green Valley Hotel in Kampala for overnight stay.

DAY 2


Drive to murchison falls national park.
We will pick you from the airport, hotel, of your choice and drive to Murchison Falls National Park. We will stop for lunch in Masindi and then drive through the park, aiming for Paraa. On the way we will visit the Top of the Falls, with a wonderful view over Murchison Falls NP and the Nile. We will reach Paraa late in the afternoon, We will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for tracking the Rhinos and also have Lunch here before contuining via Karuma Bridge to reach later in the afternoon at Fort Murchison just outside the park boundaries. The day will close with a cool drink and a fabulous view over the river Nile, and the evening coming with all the noise of an African night.

DAY 3

This is the day will wake up early in the morning for a game drive around the park and along the Nile. We will spend there 5hrs spotting different animals like lions, buffaloes, giraffes. Elephants before the impressive launch trip on the Nile, up to the Falls, giving you a chance to see hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants and many many different birds!

DAY 4

We take an early boat cruise to the delta, where the two Niles meet and enter Lake Albert. This trip takes 5-6 hours and it show us all the beauty of this national park especially the delta with all the different birds. This is a good chance to see the elusive Shoebill Stork! In the afternoon you can relax, and if you are on the Luxury Tour you can swim at your respective Lodges.

DAY 5


Kibale National park
Drive to Kibale Forest National park passing close to Lake Albert on a clear day for the view from the top of the Alberteine Rift Valley and the view is spectacular. In the afternoon we will arrive at Kibale Forest Camp, where we will stay sleeping with the noises of the tropical rainforest. We can choose to stay at others lodges for better views of craters.

DAY 6


Chimp walk and Swamp walk
We will go for the 4 hour chimp tracking and you may also get to see 10 other primates! Kibale NP is also known for all the butterflies and birds. In the afternoon we will walk through Bigodi Swamp (home to a community based project).

DAY 7


To Queen Elizabeth National Park
Drive to queen Elizabeth national park through Fort Portal and reach there at midday, with a stunningly beautiful view over Kazinga Channel. You will check in at your lodge and have lunch, and then enjoy an afternoon game drive up late in the evening.

DAY 8


This is the day for a game drive on the plains of Queen Elizabeth NP, with thousands animals like Ugandan kobs, lions, elephants etc. drive back to your accommodation for lunch and take a two hours launch trip on the Kazinga channel where we will see all the animals from the waterside.

DAY 9

After the breakfast in the morning, we will go to Kyambura Gorge for a 3-4 hour walk into the Gorge to meet the chimpanzees. After Lunch at our recommended lodge we will drive for 2 hours to the Southern sector of Queen Elizabeth NP called Ishasha Sector, to see the famous tree climbing lions.


DAY 10

To Lake Bunyonyi
Depart to lake bunyonyi after breakfast. This place is beautiful and surrounded by the hills of Western Uganda. The road takes us through a beautiful landscape called the Switzerland of Africa. This lake is famous for birds, otters and delicious crayfish. We spend the rest of the day here and swim if you want, try a canoe, or relax looking at the over 300 birds species you can sometimes see from the veranda (carry your binoculars)

DAY 11


To Bwindi Impenetrable 
Drive to the South of Bwindi. through a stunning views of this beautiful place. walk along the lakeshore and above on the hills. We will go through a beautiful landscape, mountains, hills and lakes with cultivated terraces and tropical rainforest and bamboo forests.

DAY 12


Gorilla tracking.
Your guide will make sure you are at the Offices of Bwindi Impenetrable NP for pre-briefing by 7:45am and at 8:30am you will leave to the forest to trek these giants. After finding the Gorillas you will spend a maximum of 1 hour. Then you will start walking back to the starting point.


DAY 13

To Kisoro.
We will leave for Kisoro very early in the morning driving through the stunning and beautiful landscape. Mountains, lakes, hills with cultivated terraces, bambo forest and tropical rainforest. The landscape unfolds beneath us on the last hill and it takes in the vast planes between Uganda, Rwanda and Congo, with the Virunga volcanoes dominating the view. Kisoro is at the bottom of the valley and sometimes we can stay at the famous Travellers Rest Hotel which was visited by Dian Fossey the American gorilla-woman. She Visited it in the sixties and many other times to do paperwork, relax and meet people.

DAY 14

We will spend this day in and around Kisoro at Lake mutanda resort as the home base and there some activities in kisoro which you can undertake and they are very interesting activities. These activities can be done individually or in groups. 
They include: 
1. Climbing Muhavura Volcano (8 hrs; distance 12km; height 4127m; elevation gain 1700m). 
2. Climbing Gahinga Volcano (6 hrs; distance 8km; height 3474m; elevation gain 1100m). 
3. Visit to Sabinyo Gorge (4 hrs; distance 6km, no elevation gain). 
4. Climbing Sabinyo Volcano (Sabinyo has three peaks, you can climb all three in the same walk, but you need to be fit!! 8 hrs; distance 14 km; height 3669m, elevation gain 1300 m). 
5. Hiking in Mgahinga to the viewpoint and Garama Cave (pygmy cave) (4 hrs; distance 1 and 4 km). 
6. Bird walk in Mgahinga (start at 10am, it can last until 4-5pm). 
7. Cultural village walk (with a local guide walking through the land of the Bufumbira tribe) 
8. Walk to Lake Mutanda. Visit Python island and go canoeing on this beautiful lake 
9. Or just sit and relax or read a book in the garden of your lodge.

DAY 15


To Lake Mburo National Park
We will drive to Lake Mburo National Park through mbarara town and sometimes we can have lunch here before we continue to Lake Mburo, a smaller but unique park, and the only one in the Western part of Uganda with impalas, zebras, elands. and topi. We will go for a village/cultural walk in the afternoon.

DAY 16


Enjoy a morning game drive or go for a game walk in the park. We will take an afternoon boat trip on the Lake Mburo and another game drive in evening. This Small park has variety of animals, that is to say 68 mammal species, including a large number of Impalas (the antelope from which Kampala is named after), plain zebras, Uganda kobs, duikers, bushbucks, topis, buffaloes, leopards, spotted hyenas, Defassa waterbucks, warthogs and 315 bird species. The vegetation is mainly open savannah of acacia trees, olea and boscia. This park is a natural haven for fauna and flora. Crocodiles and hippos will be easily seen when you take the boat trip.

DAY 17


This is the day you will be reflecting of stories to tell after your 16 days of adventure and how it felt to be in nature, close to lions, Elephants, hippos and Golliras. We will have a lazy morning at our lodge in lake mburo and drive to Kampala after breakfast. This is the last part of the safari that will bring us back to Kampala doing lazy activities like water experiment at the equator and photo shooting.
